Saturday Club Night

Saturday 19th of May 2012

DJ Jamie Ings

Having started DJing at the age of 14, 23 year old Jamie Ings has more experience behind him than most DJs of his age. Jamie grew up in Bournemouth where he was quickly snapped up by the local scene and appeared as a guest DJ for the world famous Slinky brand.

Since then he has been slapped on flyers up and down the country and abroad and has shared the booth with names such as Pete Tong, Fake Blood, Judge Jules and Annie Mac to name a few. In 2008 Jamie progressed to the final stages of the Movida Corona World DJ competition, and in 2009 won the Kissy Sell Out Radio 1 DJ competition before supporting Kissy himself in front of a crowd of 3,000 people.

Currently Jamie finds himself regularly appearing at the prestigious Junk Club in Southampton and London venues such as Lightbox and Ministry of Sound, and when Jamie is not behind the decks he is focusing on writing new material for himself to release later this year.

Jamie keeps his house sound fresh by re-editing every track he plays to suit the crowd. His original bootlegs and unreleased mash ups bring the dance floor barometer to new levels and leave the clubs calling out for more.

DJ Ace

Joao 'DJ Ace' started to connect with music from an early age. When he was just 14 years old, a friend introduced him to the decks at a house party. From that moment onwards he started to meet other DJs, learning from them and at 15 he was given the opportunity to play regularly in a local bar in his home town in the Algarve, Portugal.

He wanted nothing in return but to see the smiles and the moving feet of the people listening. Aged 18, he signed his first DJ residency contract and at 19 he progressed to the position of official DJ at Geckos Club in Vale do Lobo, Portugal where he played for 5 amazing years. In 2009, at 22 years old, he moved to London and was offered to play in some venues in Soho including the Exchange Bar where he was resident for a while.

Now he's proud to have played at some of the most prestigious venues in London including Mahiki, Public, Ladybird and The Roof Gardens amongst others, he also had the privilege of playing for Prince Harry recently at his private polo party. Always in a good mood, he makes each and every night very special and magical. With his unique and original way to mix, you're in for a treat with this amazing DJ!
